South Yorkshire’s Moyo Farm Supplies hosted their inaugural “Fun on the Farm” family event in Barnsley on Saturday 17 September.

Run by Zimbabwean raised Menford Tapudzai, the event was marked by harvests of maize, live performances by artists and children’s activities including farm experiences with tractors, combine harvesters and horses.

On Saturday, hundreds of people took part in a rally in Sheffield city centre, to stand in solidarity with rail workers. The rally, organised by the Rail Maritime Union workers, aimed at highlighting the ongoing dispute between rail workers and employer, Network Rail.
